Job summary

National Multiple Sclerosis Society is seeking Seasonal Associate, Centralized Support Team (CST) to ensure successful production of 103 Walk MS events. The role focuses on centralized event logistics, procurement, and operational support to maintain consistency, efficiency, and cost control across the national Walk MS campaign.

Working with Event Leads and CST teams, you will manage back-end logistics, vendor coordination, and financial oversight, consolidating procurement and standardizing

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of Event Production experience, including at least 1–2 full seasons in event lifecycle roles.
• Experience coordinating logistics, budgeting, safety measures, and vendor management.
• Ability to guide event teams and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Event production and planning (85%): manage logistics, planning, and execution for Walk MS events.
• Budget & Financial Oversight: handle invoices, budgets, and tracking for chapters.
• Planning & Documentation: create and maintain the CST Event Manual and route/site maps.
• Vendor & Logistics Coordination: secure vendors, confirm invoices, and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Safety & Compliance: arrange medics, security, and background checks when needed.
• Lodging & Transportation: arrange staff/volunteer lodging and vehicle rentals.
• Supplies & Materials: order signage, shirts, circles of support, and catering items.
• Post-Event Wrap-Up: distribute surveys and assist with reports and feedback.
