Job summary

The National MS Society is seeking a Remote Temporary CST role to oversee centralized event logistics, procurement, and operational support for Walk MS campaigns. You will coordinate back-end logistics, vendor relations, and financial oversight to ensure consistency, efficiency, and cost control from planning through post-event wrap-up.

Working with Event Leads and field staff, you’ll manage budgets, sponsor coordination, and post-event tasks, while ensuring safety and compliance across multiple

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of Event Production experience, including 1–2 full seasons in an event lifecycle position.
• Experience with planning and coordinating events, including logistics, budgeting, communication, and safety measures.
• Supported team leads in organizing and guiding event teams through various phases of planning and execution.
• Can manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities while staying organized and focused on team goals.

Responsibilities

• Event production and event planning for Walk MS events (85%).
• Budget oversight and financial tracking for budgets and chapters.
• Planning and documentation, including CST Event Manual and site/maps.
• Vendor & logistics coordination for tents, A/V, labor, storage, and rentals.
• Safety & compliance tasks including medics, security, and background checks.
• Lodging & transportation arrangements for staff/volunteers.
• Procurement of supplies, signage, apparel, and catering as needed.
• Post-event wrap-up, surveys, and expense reporting.
• Other centralized support tasks to standardize processes.
