Job summary

Tecovas, based in Austin, TX, is hiring Seasonal Customer Experience Associates to ensure top-tier interactions with customers on email, live chat, and phone. You will support during peak holiday periods and have flexibility for extended hours, including mornings, weekends, and evenings.

The role is remote for US-based candidates, with mandatory training dates in October and a tentative end date in January. Opportunities for permanent roles may arise based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree a plus, ideally in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Retail or customer-facing job experience.
• Independent, results-driven work ethic.
• Ability to manage difficult customer situations calmly and positively.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced startup environment.
• Utmost character, honesty, and humility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing customers via email, live chat, and phone.
• Quickly and accurately answer questions and resolve issues related to purchases, shipping, and more.
• Provide thoughtful advice on product questions, including style and fit, with customer-specific recommendations.
• Know the product line, ordering, shipping, and logistics to serve as a knowledge base for customers and teammates.
• Gain cross-functional experience in sales, events, marketing, and other customer-facing functions as desired.
• Partner with leadership to create and implement new policies, procedures, and customer retention programs.
• Maintain excellent daily metrics and CSAT.
• Represent the team in culture, attitude, and expertise and embody Tecovas’ core values.
