Job summary

Uncommon Goods is seeking Seasonal Artwork Customizers to join our remote team as independent contractors from late September through the end of December. You will modify existing artwork templates using Photoshop and Illustrator to add and adjust text and images per customer specs.

The role emphasizes high accuracy in a high-volume setting, with hours starting at 8–16 per week and potential to grow to 40. NYC-area not required; NY/FL/TX residents preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Extremely strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and established processes consistently.
• Comfortable with repetitive, detail-focused production work.
• Able to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Reliable and able to commit to an agreed-upon schedule.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable learning new tools, processes, and workflows.
• Experience with personalized artwork or production artwork a plus.
• Familiarity with Slack, Microsoft Outlook, Asana is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Customize existing digital artwork templates with customer-provided text and images.
• Follow established design specifications and processes when modifying artwork.
• Carefully review personalization for spelling, punctuation, placement, sizing, and other details.
• Prepare, save, organize, and submit final digital files for production.
• Make revisions and corrections as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity while working with high volumes of orders.
• Communicate effectively with the team through Slack, email, and other remote collaboration tools.
• Work independently while meeting established deadlines and quality expectations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
