Job summary

UVeye Inc. is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join the Demand Generation team. This remote West Coast role focuses on identifying and engaging prospective customers, scheduling 4–6 qualified meetings weekly, and aligning with Sales and Marketing to refine outreach.

The ideal candidate has experience in sales development, strong communication skills, and a customer-first approach. Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus and a background selling to automotive dealerships is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales development, business development, outbound prospecting, appointment setting, or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• A track record of meeting activity or appointment-setting goals is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally by phone.
• Customer-focused, friendly and confident approach when speaking with a variety of people.
• Strong active-listening skills and the ability to ask relevant questions and respond thoughtfully to objections.
• Persistence and resilience navigating outreach and changing priorities.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail with follow-up documentation.
• Positive, collaborative attitude across Sales and Marketing teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting; experience selling to automotive dealerships is required.
• Openness to coaching and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers through outbound outreach.
• Research target accounts and connect with decision-makers.
• Schedule 4–6 qualified meetings per week and meet activity goals.
• Ask effective questions and clearly communicate UVeye's value proposition.
• Navigate objections and move conversations toward next steps.
• Follow up on missed or canceled meetings to re-engage prospects.
• Maintain accurate records of conversations and next steps in Salesforce.
• Follow established sales processes and use team tools effectively.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to strengthen messaging and outreach strategies.
• Handle customer and company information with professionalism and discretion.
