Job summary

ICF is seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join our Digital Modernization Division. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams, and collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a clear backlog. You will track metrics, remove impediments, and promote transparency across teams in a remote setup within US Eastern time hours.

US citizenship and Public Trust background check are required. Preferred candidates hold SAFe/CSM/PSM certifications and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Must reside in the U.S., authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
• At least 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Product Manager.
• US Citizenship is required by the federal government for this position.
• Must pass successful Public Trust background check.
• SAFe, Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) for one or more teams.
• Guide teams in adoption and consistent application of Agile/Scrum principles.
• Remove impediments and foster continuous improvement and high performance.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a clear and actionable product backlog.
• Coach stakeholders and leadership on Agile values and practices.
• Track and communicate team progress, metrics, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Support teams in identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Promote transparency, collaboration, and open communication within and across teams.
• Assist in discovery of new opportunities for team growth and development.
• Work with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to align on organizational Agile maturity.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and governance related to Agile delivery.
