Job summary

Pearson is seeking remote scorers for English 6-12 scoring. This part-time role offers a starting rate and requires Florida Department of Education approval, with sessions Mon–Fri from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST. Training precedes scoring and work occurs remotely.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or higher and meet subject-matter qualifications, including active certification or equivalent college teaching experience, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Current teaching certification in subject area and five+ years public school experience preferred.
• Or bachelor’s and college-level teaching in same subject with five+ years teaching in that subject.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Florida candidates.
• Internalize scoring standards and participate in scorer discussions.
• Meet quality and productivity requirements and pass a scoring qualifying test.
