Job summary

Pearson is seeking remote scorers for English 6-12 scoring programs. This part-time, remote role offers a starting rate of $17.50 per hour and weekday scoring 8:30 AM–4:30 PM EST on a biweekly schedule.

You will evaluate responses, internalize scoring standards, participate in discussions with other scorers, and meet quality and productivity requirements, including a qualifying test before scoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required and current teaching certification in the subject area.
• 5+ years’ recent experience in the service role in a public school in the subject area.
• Or hold/previously held college-level teaching in the same subject area with 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Florida teacher candidates.
• Internalize scoring standards and engage with other scorers in scoring activities.
• Meet quality and productivity requirements, including passing a qualifying test.
