Pearson is seeking remote scorers for English 6-12 to evaluate responses and apply scoring standards. Starting rate is $17.50 per hour with weekday daytime scoring times, and training precedes scoring.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s or higher and meet Florida DOE approval requirements; remote work from the United States is available. Training is provided; scoring occurs Monday through Friday on a designated day every two weeks, with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• Current teaching certification in the subject area and 5+ years of recent public school service in the subject area.
• Or hold a college/university position in the same subject with at least 5 years of teaching in that subject.
• Approval to score by the Florida Department of Education is required.
• Available to work on weekdays 8:30 AM–4:00 PM EST.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Florida teacher candidates.
• Internalize scoring standards and participate in scoring discussions with other scorers.
• Meet quality and productivity requirements and pass a qualifying test before scoring.
