Job summary

Pearson is recruiting qualified scorers to remotely evaluate Georgia teacher licensure responses. You will internalize scoring standards, participate in consensus scoring, and help uphold professional standards in education.

Eligible applicants include those with a bachelor’s degree and teaching certification in the subject area, or those with two+ years of public school experience. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and teaching certification in the subject area.
• Must have two or more years' recent public school experience in the subject area.
• Or have recent college/university faculty experience preparing candidates.
• Must not be a current Georgia educator or be based in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Georgia teacher candidates.
• Internalize scoring standards and participate in consensus scoring activities.
• Discuss bias types and strategies to reduce bias in scoring.
• Meet quality and productivity requirements and pass a qualifying test.
