Job summary

Summit K12 is seeking an experienced educator to join our Dynamic Science Professional Development Team as an Instructional Support Specialist. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, in-person and virtual professional development to teachers and school leaders implementing our science solutions.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in teaching, instructional coaching, or school leadership, along with deep expertise in 3-dimensional science instruction and evidence-based teaching

Qualifications

• 5+ years Science teaching experience leading sustained coaching sessions and professional development for educators in K-12.
• Ability to analyze data and use it to inform practice and get results.
• Experience providing support to educators through both online and onsite learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, conduct, and facilitate online and on-site professional development for Summit K12 solutions.
• Empower teachers and school leaders to implement evidence-based practices aligned to our solution.
