Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of counseling/advisement experience
• School Counselor License preferred
• Ability to clear required background check
• Master’s degree in school counseling preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive services and short-term counseling to students
• Guide students on postsecondary options and college planning
• Deliver classroom instruction aligned with student success standards
• Review transcripts and advise on graduation requirements
• Collaborate with teachers to develop a four-year graduation plan
• Assist students with course placement and AP/pathway recommendations
• Analyze student data to develop intervention programs
• Travel up to 20% for development, testing, and meetings
