Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a Director of Scheduling to lead our scheduling organization, aligning project controls with business goals. You will drive standardized processes, own Primavera P6, and deliver actionable schedule insights to project leadership across multiple business units.

The role supports a remote or office-based arrangement, requires up to 30% travel, and reports to the Project Controls leadership team, delivering measurable improvements in project execution and predictability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related major.
• 15+ years of experience in project management and/or project controls.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• PSP and/or PMI-SP certification preferred.
• Renewable energy construction experience preferred.
• Experience in preparing and delivering complex schedule data to project teams and executive leadership.
• Ability to drive innovative scheduling solutions and process improvements.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the scheduling team, overseeing assignments, performance, and training.
• Drive efficiency by leading process improvements across Project Controls and Operations.
• Establish and enforce standardized scheduling processes and templates.
• Own and maintain scheduling tools and systems, specifically Primavera P6.
• Conduct quality audits on project schedules for accuracy and reporting integrity.
• Serve as trusted advisor to project management, operations, and executives.
• Deliver actionable schedule reports and forecasts to stakeholders.
• Oversee baselines, forecasts, recovery plans, and delay scenarios.
• Perform advanced schedule analysis including risk assessments and forensic reviews.
• Ensure schedule integration with cost control, estimating, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
