Job summary

JCW Group seeks an experienced SBA Loan Closer to join our lending team in a fully remote role. You will manage the closing process from final approval through funding, ensuring all documentation, conditions, and compliance requirements are satisfied accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of SBA lending experience, deep knowledge of SBA 7(a) closing procedures, and the ability to coordinate with borrowers, lenders, and third parties while meeting tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SBA lending, commercial lending, loan closing, or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of SBA loan documentation and closing requirements.
• Experience with SBA 7(a) lending preferred.
• Familiarity with SBA SOPs, lender policies, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation and collateral requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the SBA loan closing process from final approval through funding.
• Review loan files to ensure all approval conditions have been satisfied.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate execution of loan closing documents.
• Verify borrower, guarantor, collateral, insurance, entity, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with borrowers, lenders, attorneys, title companies, escrow agents, and other third parties.
• Ensure loan documentation accurately reflects approved credit terms.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and outstanding conditions.
• Review collateral and lien documentation as applicable.
• Ensure SBA forms and documentation are completed per SBA requirements and policies.
• Coordinate funding and confirm all funding conditions have been met.
• Maintain accurate loan records and closing checklists.
• Communicate with internal teams and external parties regarding closing status.
• Escalate potential compliance, documentation, or credit issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of borrower and company information.
• Meet closing timelines, quality standards, and productivity goals.
