Critical Fit Recruiting seeks a Technical Sales Manager with deep Satcom/RF expertise to own the full sales lifecycle for U.S.-based government and commercial customers. Remote, serving the San Diego, CA area, this role interfaces with engineering, product, and operations to drive bookings and account growth.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in aerospace payload hardware sales, strong RF/microwave knowledge, and a proven record of winning design opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of aerospace payload hardware sales experience.
• Proven track record securing design wins for RF/microwave tech.
• Experience selling RF/microwave components; not software/services.
• Domestic travel ~30–50% expected.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to engineers and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities in assigned markets.
• Drive revenue by expanding existing relationships and pursuing new prospects.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to exceed sales goals.
• Act as primary client contact for all matters; build long-term relationships.
• Provide tailored solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive repeat business.
• Support and guide clients; ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
• Monitor KPIs; provide sales forecasts and progress updates to management.
• Maintain records of interactions and opportunities using CRM tools.
• Provide field feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies.
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for products.
• Collaborate with marketing/product teams on customized proposals.
• Present as a trusted partner in mmWave and RF systems; lead negotiations.
• Ensure contracts meet client needs and quality/compliance standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of products/services.
