Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Scrum Master / Project Manager to support SAP BAU initiatives with a focus on OTC enhancements. The role will manage end-to-end delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models in a remote, contract-to-hire capacity.

Responsibilities include backlog management, stakeholder engagement, status reporting, budget tracking, change control, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have SAP project management experience, strong communication and facilitation skills,

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of IT experience with technology project management.
• Prior SAP project management experience and understanding of SAP technology, integrations, and related requirements.
• Experience supporting security, compliance, and identity/access management projects.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or regulated industries preferred.
• Experience with Jira or similar Agile lifecycle tools preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• PM, CSM, PMI-ACP, or related certifications preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow or SPM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with SAP OTC, RTR, PTP, and PTD teams to define and manage backlog, priorities, dependencies, timelines, and delivery plans.
• Establish and manage project plans across schedule, cost, scope, quality, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Coordinate activities across matrixed teams using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches as appropriate.
• Identify dependencies across workstreams, determine critical path, and communicate key tasks and milestones.
• Identify variances to plan and develop mitigation or corrective action plans with project team members.
• Monitor deliverables against approved scope, schedule, and budget, and escalate concerns with impact statements and options.
• Identify, document, communicate, and manage risks throughout the lifecycle, securing stakeholder alignment on responses.
• Engage stakeholders at the appropriate level and cadence to enable timely decisions and issue resolution.
• Tailor communications to audience needs and synthesize information into concise, actionable updates.
• Maintain accurate artifacts including status reports, RAID logs, schedules, forecasts, decision logs, change requests, and communication plans.
• Record and monitor actuals and forecasts against budget, escalating budget risks and financial impacts as needed.
• Recommend process adjustments when appropriate and gain consensus from stakeholders.
• Leverage best practices, technical knowledge, and organizational awareness to mitigate risks and improve outcomes.
• Mentor others on project management methods, practices, and tools, and seek opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness.
