Job summary

Rimini Street is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to deliver remote, expert-level support within a global enterprise software organization. You will troubleshoot complex SAP issues, develop break fixes, and advise clients on best practices in highly configured environments.

This is a remote position based in Brazil with global coverage. Fluency in English is required, and a second language is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of SAP experience with a focus on SAP Basis administration.
• System administration knowledge on at least two platforms (Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, or Windows).
• Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MS-SQL, DB2, Sybase, or SAP HANA.
• Expertise in SAP HANA architecture, installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and system migration.
• Experience with SLT installation, database sizing, and database performance optimization.
• English fluency, with fluency in a second language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting across SAP modules.
• Provide hands-on assistance using proprietary tools in test environments or via remote client connectivity.
• Develop application break fixes for critical product defects and create scripts to correct data issues.
• Serve as a technical and functional advisor for one or more key assigned accounts.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and process improvements.
• Participate in a 24x7x365 support organization, including flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
