Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. This role defines end-to-end solution architecture across the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise standards, and industry best practices.

The position is remote with eligibility for applicants in Boston, MA. You will provide technical leadership, mentor delivery teams, and drive governance, security, and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience with 7+ years Salesforce experience.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
• Deep expertise in Salesforce platforms and clouds.
• Hands-on knowledge of Apex, LWC, flows, platform events, and integrations.
• Experience with MuleSoft, REST/SOAP, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong security, governance, and data modeling understanding.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture aligned with business requirements.
• Architect across Salesforce Platform, Sales/Service/Experience/ FSC and Industry Clouds.
• Map out-of-the-box capabilities to business processes with minimal customization.
• Design scalable solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, and integrations.
• Define enterprise integration architectures using APIs and MuleSoft.
• Govern data architecture, security models, DevOps, and deployment strategies.
• Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and sessions with stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to delivery teams.
• Collaborate with product owners and program leadership to ensure delivery.
• Drive governance, quality, scalability, security, and performance.
