Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. You will define end-to-end architecture across the Salesforce ecosystem, aligning with business objectives and industry standards.

The role offers remote work with flexibility, open to candidates in Boston, MA and beyond, and includes collaboration with enterprise stakeholders, product teams, and delivery squads to drive successful implementations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years of Salesforce experience.
Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect delivering enterprise-scale implementations.
Hands-on knowledge of Apex, Lightening Web Components (LWC), Flows, Platform Events, and Salesforce integrations.
Experience designing enterprise integrations using MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
Strong Salesforce security architecture, data modeling, governance, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience leading architecture workshops and translating business requirements into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Define and lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture aligned with business requirements and standards.
Architect solutions across Salesforce Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, FSC, and other Industry Clouds.
Map business requirements to Salesforce capabilities while minimizing customization.
Design scalable solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, Platform Events, and integrations.
Define and implement enterprise integration architectures with REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and middleware.
Establish and govern Salesforce data architecture, security models, and deployment strategies.
Conduct architecture reviews, design workshops, and design authority sessions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to delivery teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
Drive governance, quality, scalability, security, and performance across Salesforce implementations.
