Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. This remote role is open to qualified applicants in the US, including Austin, TX, with flexible work arrangements while maintaining balance through well-being programs.

You will lead end-to-end architecture across Salesforce platforms, drive governance, and mentor delivery teams while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience with at least 7+ years Salesforce experience.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect delivering enterprise-scale implementations.
• Deep expertise across Salesforce Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and FSC.
• Hands-on knowledge of Apex, LWC, Flows, Platform Events, and integration capabilities.
• Experience with MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware architectures.
• Strong Salesforce security, data modeling, DevOps, and CI/CD understanding.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture aligned with business needs and standards.
• Architect solutions across Salesforce Platform, Sales/Service/Experience/ FSC Clouds and Industry Clouds.
• Map requirements to out-of-the-box capabilities with minimal customizations.
• Design scalable maintainable solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, and integrations.
• Define enterprise integration using REST/SOAP, MuleSoft, and event-driven patterns.
• Govern data architecture, security models, DevOps practices, and deployment strategies.
• Lead architecture reviews, workshops, and design authority sessions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to delivery teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and governance.
• Drive quality, security, scalability, and performance across Salesforce implementations.
