Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. The role requires deep Salesforce expertise and hands-on development skills across Apex, LWC, Flows, and integrations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
10+ years IT experience with at least 7+ years Salesforce experience.
Proven experience as Salesforce Solution Architect or lead architect.
Deep expertise in Salesforce Platform, Sales/Service/Experience Cloud and FSC.
Hands-on Apex, LWC, Flows, Platform Events, and integration capabilities.
Enterprise integrations using MuleSoft, REST/SOAP, middleware, event-driven patterns.
Security architecture, data modeling, governance, DevOps, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Define and lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture aligned with business requirements and enterprise standards.
Architect across Salesforce Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, FSC, and Industry Cloud.
Map out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities to business processes and minimize customizations.
Design scalable solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, Platform Events, and integration APIs.
Establish enterprise integration architectures using REST/SOAP, MuleSoft, and middleware.
Govern Salesforce data architecture, security models, data governance, and deployment strategies.
Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and design authority sessions.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to delivery teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
Drive governance, quality, scalability, security, and performance across implementations.
Evaluate platform capabilities and recommend strategic solutions for growth.
