Job summary

Excellus BCBS is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to manage day-to-day operations, configure Salesforce to fit our needs, and create/update fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns, and other Salesforce objects to enhance our provider lifecycle management experience. This role requires a strong grasp of business operations and the ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years related work experience required (e.g.: configuration experience on a health insurance platform/ application).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field. In lieu of a degree, six (6) years of related work experience required.
Prior experience in a technical role supporting provider networks strongly preferred. Proven work experience as a Salesforce administrator.
Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) required.
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms. Experience in setting up and managing user profiles, roles, and permission sets in Salesforce.
Working knowledge of the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with provider network leaders as well as their teams, Salesforce & Product Owner, to understand business strategy / priority, and determines and executes the solutions.
Manage and maintain the company’s Salesforce CRM, including user setup, profiles, roles, and teams, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validations. Responsible for system configuration fields, tables, modules and data bases required to support accurate processing.
Creates and maintains reports, dashboards, list views, and automation solutions. Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
Works within the Agile project methodology and framework.
Creates and maintains documentation. Document system configuration and administrative processes.
Creates and executes unit test cases for testing and workplan management. Creates individual work plans for projects and workplan management.
