Job summary

Malarkey Roofing Products is seeking a Sales Representative for the Southern Ohio region. The role serves as the primary sales agent for distributors, roofing contractors, homeowner groups, and other customers to support company growth.

The focus areas include Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing or related field and 3+ years outside sales experience, preferably in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction/industrial.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to build productive relationships with management, peers, contractors, suppliers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary sales agent with distributors, roofing contractors, homeowner groups and others in the region.
• Reach out to prospects and convert them into customers using all available resources.
• Communicate, present, and influence credibly to diverse audiences.
• Develop and deepen relationships to meet territory revenue and profitability goals.
• Prepare timely, accurate proposals and interpret blueprints/plans and other specifications.
• Stay informed on competitor developments.
