Job summary

DMC Recruitment seeks a Sales Representative to develop and grow the industrial wood products business in the Northeastern United States and Ontario. The role focuses on rig matting, access mats, crane mats, and related products, with support from an experienced logistics and procurement team.

This is a remote, full-time opportunity with base pay plus performance bonuses. The candidate will travel roughly one-third of the time, build a robust pipeline, and establish relationships with

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or business development within industrial products, lumber, forestry, construction or related sector.
• Ability to identify new customers, projects and market opportunities.
• Strong relationship-building and proactive approach to developing new business.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business throughout the Northeastern U.S. and Ontario, expanding market share.
• Identify opportunities for rig matting, access mats, crane mats, utility poles and related industrial wood products.
• Build relationships with contractors, utility companies, industrial customers, distributors and infrastructure firms.
• Identify upcoming projects, public tenders and opportunities to introduce the company's products.
• Develop and manage a sales pipeline while building long-term customer relationships.
• Prepare quotes, proposals and presentations based on customer and project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal logistics, procurement and operations to support customers from inquiry to delivery.
• Travel throughout the territory to meet customers and develop new business.
