Job summary

DMC Recruitment has partnered with a well-established forest products company to recruit an experienced Sales Representative for the Eastern U.S. market.

This role focuses on growing the company’s presence, developing relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in lumber, industrial wood products, and related sectors. The position offers remote flexibility across the Eastern region, with travel to meet customers, prepare quotes, and present proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience selling lumber, treated wood products or industrial forest products.
• Strong network within the Eastern U.S. market is a plus.
• Proven ability to build relationships and develop new business.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business throughout the Eastern U.S. market.
• Build relationships with contractors, utilities, industrial customers, distributors and other buyers.
• Grow sales of access mats, crane mats, utility poles and other industrial wood products.
• Identify new projects, customers, bids and market opportunities.
• Develop and manage your own pipeline while growing existing relationships.
• Prepare quotes, proposals and customer presentations.
• Collaborate with internal logistics, procurement and operations to support customers from quote to delivery.
• Travel throughout the territory to meet customers and visit projects.
