Job summary

Soda is the data quality layer trusted by Disney, Ralph Lauren, CBRE, HelloFresh, 2K Games, and Nubank. We are hiring a remote Sales Engineer to join our GTM team and work on enterprise deals, owning the technical side of the process with room to grow.

You will run demos, scope PoCs, and build PoC environments while translating customer problems into Soda solutions. This hands-on role suits a startup environment with rapid growth and impact.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in a technical customer-facing role at a B2B SaaS company.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical field.
• Fluent in Python and able to read, write, and debug in front of a customer.
• Experience running demos and supporting PoCs in customer environments.
• Strong customer communication, clear and calm under pressure.
• Builder mentality with documentation and process optimization.
• Based in the US.

Responsibilities

• Run demos and scope PoCs alongside AEs from first technical call to close.
• Translate customer problems into Soda solutions and Soda's capabilities into customer language.
• Build custom demos, sample pipelines, and PoC environments showing real value.
• Own product, technical, and security responses on RFPS and RFIs.
• Support customers through evaluation, purchasing, and implementation.
• Be the technical voice in the room with Data Engineers and CDOs.
• Provide feedback to product/engineering on field signals.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites and events.
