Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer - Electronic Warfare to collaborate with Sales, Marketing and BD to tailor advanced sensing solutions for customers. You will participate in technical sales, demonstrations, and post-sale support, with frequent field travel and potential remote work depending on location.

The role reports to the Director of Sales Engineering and suits an entrepreneurial technologist who enjoys customer interaction and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 6+ years in pre/post-sales role.
• 3–5 years in Defense tech, EW, SIGINT, ISR, RF sensing, or adjacent domains.
• Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and training.
• Demonstrate and present Silvus’ sensing solutions; tailor to customer needs.
• Travel to customer sites for support and training; deliver demonstrations.
• Visit locations for field support and feedback to development teams.
• Troubleshoot field failures and assist with product deployments.
• Travel up to 50% for meetings, events, and demos.
