Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sales Director for BPO and Digital Operations in the United States. You will accelerate growth in the IOA team within the CMT segment, drive large transformation deals, and build executive-level client relationships.

You will lead cross-functional teams to shape propositions and ensure revenue and profitability targets are met. This leadership role emphasizes strategic vision, collaboration, and a focus on AI-led innovation.

Qualifications

• 10 to 25 years of overall industry experience, with 10+ years in digital-native or technology-driven environments.
• Proven experience leading $10M+ annual revenue portfolios with deal sizes and TCV in the $10M–$30M range.
• Deep understanding of AI Ops, business services, technology platforms, and digital operating models; view on Agentic AI.
• Experience advising clients on location/operating model strategy and ROI-led solutioning.
• Proven ability to operate effectively within global, matrixed organizational structures.
• Proven track record of leadership, ownership, and fostering an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead new logo acquisition efforts and portfolio growth, closing large, complex BPO and Digital Operations deals.
• Establish executive-level relationships with senior client stakeholders; act as trusted advisor.
• Partner with Solutions, Delivery, Process Excellence, and Automation teams to craft differentiated client propositions.
• Lead end-to-end account ownership including deal shaping, forecasting, budgeting, and P&L accountability.
• Engage with industry bodies, analysts, and advisors to align Cognizant's IOA/CMT offerings with market needs.
• Demonstrate Cognizant Way to Lead with strategic agility and human-AI collaboration.
