Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Sales Development Account Manager to build a robust new business pipeline and qualify inbound leads while prospecting outbound opportunities. You will partner with Business Development and Marketing to create territory plans, engage prospects across channels, and drive revenue growth.

In this role you’ll manage accounts and opportunities in Salesforce, advance qualified deals, and nurture client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years inside sales and/or sales development experience.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Sales Development Account Manager, Level 2 within Worldwide.
• CRO or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, including Phase I–IV knowledge.
• Experience using Salesforce or another CRM and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong new business pipeline through inbound lead qualification, outbound prospecting, and targeted client outreach.
• Develop territory plans with Business Development and Marketing to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
• Engage prospects through calls, email, social outreach, and meetings to understand needs and challenges.
• Manage target accounts, prospects, opportunities, and pipeline forecasting in Salesforce.
• Advance qualified opportunities through the sales process and coordinate next steps with Business Development.
• Grow client relationships by identifying expansion and upsell opportunities and aligning with services.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Operations, Marketing, SMEs, and other resources for RFPs, discussions, quotations, and bid defense preparation.
• Develop your Business Development and management capabilities through training and collaboration with leaders.
