Job summary

Univar Solutions in the United States is seeking a Sales Account Manager for Waste Management Services to build profitable sales in an assigned territory from home in Louisiana. The role emphasizes consultative selling, pricing decisions, and coordination with branches to ensure service levels and inventory meet customer needs.

You will expand the customer base, maintain a robust sales pipeline, and drive satisfaction.

Qualifications

Up to 2 years of sales experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry preferred but not required.
Broad knowledge of waste management services involving chemical handling, recycling, reuse and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste preferred.
Strong ability to develop relationships with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Improve company's position within each account using consultative selling at all levels.
Prospect for new business by conducting calls and growing territory.
Maintain an updated view of your sales pipeline.
Focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase value.
Set pricing and service levels and coordinate quotations with local branches.
Coordinate with local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure inventory and satisfaction.
Build customer relationships through business calls and entertainment.
