Job summary

RiverTech is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety and compliance across facilities. The role supports regional SOH programs and conducts risk assessments, mishap investigations, and ergonomic analyses. The position is remote with substantial travel to assign sites and projects.

Responsibilities include developing QC plans, delivering safety trainings, and coordinating with project teams on MILCON and construction activities. A CSP is preferred; US citizenship and SECRET clearance are required.

Qualifications

7-10 years of direct hands-on industry experience in environmental health and safety or a related field certified in risk management and health/safety management.
US Citizenship required.
Current and valid Driver's License.
Current SECRET security clearance.
75% travel.
Education: Bachelor's degree in safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering or related safety field.

Responsibilities

Ensure all facilities achieve and maintain compliance with applicable Safety and Occupational Health standards.
Investigate, report, and mitigate mishaps to prevent recurrence.
Track identified hazards from identification to closure with timely follow-up actions.
Plan and deliver quarterly safety trainings via MS Teams for DCSA personnel.
Attend facility renovation and MILCON project meetings to ensure OSHA compliance.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control Plan (QCP) aligned to the PWS.
