Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Leader to drive enterprise execution capabilities across a portfolio of initiatives and programs. You will establish governance, coach teams, and advance the Lean-Agile transformation while partnering with business and technology leaders.

This is a remote role with an east coast schedule; you will lead communities of practice and guide governance, metrics, and delivery maturity to achieve strategic outcomes and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor''s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Management: 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Current SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification required.
• Travel: Up to 15% domestic travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Scrum Masters, and other execution-focused professionals, including performance management, coaching, succession planning, and capability development.
• Lead and sustain enterprise Agile transformation efforts utilizing SAFe principles and practices, partnering with business and technology leaders to advance organizational agility and execution maturity.
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve execution governance, standards, operating rhythms, metrics, and best practices across Agile, traditional, and hybrid delivery environments.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders, teams, and stakeholders, promoting effective execution practices, organizational agility, continuous improvement, and value delivery.
• Build, lead, and mature Communities of Practice that develop execution capabilities, promote knowledge sharing, and drive consistency across execution disciplines.
• Foster a delivery-agnostic approach to execution by helping teams and leaders apply Agile, predictive, hybrid, or flow-based practices as appropriate to achieve business outcomes.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify organizational impediments, improve execution effectiveness, increase transparency into risks and dependencies, and continuously enhance delivery performance across supported portfolios.
