Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a senior Delivery leader to drive enterprise Agile transformation and governance across multiple programs. You will coach leaders and teams, build Communities of Practice, and champion Lean-Agile practices in a delivery-agnostic environment.

This role is fully remote in the United States with an east coast schedule. Requires SAFe SPC, a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), and 7+ years in delivery leadership, plus up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 7+ years in delivery leadership.
• Current SAFe SPC certification required.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Travel up to 15% domestic travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, and other execution-focused professionals.
• Lead enterprise Agile transformation with SAFe, partnering with leaders to advance organizational agility.
• Establish, implement, and improve governance, operating rhythms, metrics, and best practices across delivery environments.
• Serve as trusted advisor and coach to leaders, teams, and stakeholders, promoting execution discipline and value delivery.
• Build, lead, and mature Communities of Practice developing execution capabilities and knowledge sharing.
• Foster a delivery-agnostic approach, applying Agile, predictive, hybrid, or flow-based practices as appropriate.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify impediments and improve delivery performance.
