Job summary

micro1 is seeking a Sales / Revenue / CS Operations Expert to work remotely in the U.S. or Canada as a contractor. The role requires hands-on CRM configuration experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and practical use of at least two connected tools—quoting, billing, ticketing, or project tracking.

You will tackle realistic SaaS revenue and CS operations scenarios, explaining your reasoning, and balancing policy conflicts to support adoption while maintaining data integrity across systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on in sales, revenue, or customer success operations in SaaS.
• Direct platform experience configuring and maintaining a CRM is required.
• Hands-on experience with at least two connected tools outside the CRM: quoting, billing, ticketing, or project tracking.

Responsibilities

• Work through realistic operations scenarios — CRM configuration decisions, workflow design, integration tradeoffs — and explain the reasoning behind each choice.
• Resolve conflicts between operational policies: which rule takes precedence, why, and what you would deliberately leave unchanged.
• Diagnose data accuracy problems across connected systems — duplicates, mismatched numbers, inconsistent definitions — and explain how you’d find the root cause.
• Explain what makes a workflow get adopted or worked around by sales and CS teams.
• Flag ambiguous or underspecified scenarios instead of resolving them silently.
