AIQ.com (Alpine IQ) is seeking an experienced Renewals Specialist to manage and improve customer retention within its growing SaaS business. This remote role is ideal for renewal management, negotiation, and customer relationship skills that can drive revenue retention and account growth.

The successful candidate will own the complete renewal lifecycle, collaborating with Customer Success, Sales, Partnerships, and Finance to shape renewal processes as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a SaaS renewals role e.g. Renewal Specialist or Renewals Manager.
• Proven track record managing renewal portfolios and hitting retention targets.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience closing renewals and multi-year agreements.
• Experience identifying customer risks and implementing churn prevention strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and contracts with strong attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience using CRM platforms for pipeline management and forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain pricing and contract terms clearly.
• Solid understanding of SaaS subscription models and retention metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end renewals for assigned accounts including outreach, proposals, negotiations, and contract completion.
• Initiate renewal conversations 90–120 days before expiry and ensure timely execution.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations.
• Negotiate renewal terms, pricing adjustments, and multi-year agreements within guidelines.
• Identify customer risks through usage data and stakeholder feedback to reduce churn.
• Maintain renewal forecasts, pipeline stages, close dates, and risk updates in HubSpot.
• Identify upsell and expansion opportunities during renewal periods.
• Coordinate with Finance and Billing on invoicing, payments, and contract concerns.
• Analyze retention metrics, churn reasons, and renewal performance for insights.
• Support development of renewal processes, documentation, automation, and best practices.
