Job summary

Thryv, a long-standing SaaS and platforms provider for SMBs, seeks an Outside Software Account Representative to expand existing client engagement and win new SaaS opportunities. You will call on clients, nurture relationships, and drive a sales quota while working primarily outside the home office.

Ideal candidates have strong SaaS sales experience, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a remote-first workflow with travel as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company).
• 2+ years' experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required.
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems.
• The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
• 50% driving requirement and valid driver's license.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute).

Responsibilities

• Contacts assigned clients and presents opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage based on client needs.
• Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting (i.e. networks, referrals, etc.) and company-initiated prospecting programs.
• Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (i.e., designed cadences for client and prospect engagement, ongoing product and demo certifications, order entry requirements, centralized intake forms, etc.).
• Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
• Help grow local business market share, defend small business America and the American Dream, work with existing clients and hunt for new business.
