Job summary

PAR Technology is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead the delivery of restaurant project implementations and ongoing app enhancements for customer brands. This remote role coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure value, on-time delivery, and quality across PAR Punchh solutions.

You will own end-to-end project delivery, manage plans and timelines, and communicate status and risks to stakeholders while partnering with Customer Success, Product, Engineering and partners.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in project management, implementation, or customer delivery roles in a SaaS environment is required.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with defined scope and timelines.
• Exposure to restaurant, retail, loyalty, or marketing technology platforms is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing interactions.
• Ability to manage dependencies across multiple teams.
• Proactive problem-solver with a structured approach to execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of Restaurant implementations and scoped enhancements for assigned customers.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track and manage scope, risks, dependencies, and action items throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to support integrations (POS, Online Ordering, CDP, CRM, etc.).
• Ensure deliverables meet PAR quality standards and client requirements.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact and project owner for delivery-related activities.
• Establish clear expectations on timelines, responsibilities, and dependencies.
• Provide regular and proactive status updates, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Support customers through requirements, strategy, testing, launch preparation, and go-live activities.
• Partner with Technical Account Managers, Product, Engineering, Strategists, Execution Services and Customer Success to align on requirements and delivery plans.
• Facilitate internal project reviews, standups, and readiness checkpoints.
• Ensure smooth handoff from Sales to delivery and from implementation to Customer Success.
• Identify delivery risks early and drive mitigation plans.
• Manage change requests and scope adjustments in alignment with internal processes.
• Escalate issues appropriately to Senior/Enterprise EM leadership when needed.
• Drive readiness for UAT, production launch, and post-launch validation.
• Ensure key product capabilities (loyalty, ordering, payments, offers, messaging, integrations) are configured and tested successfully.
• Support early adoption activities in partnership with Customer Success.
• Follow established delivery methodologies, templates, and tools.
• Contribute feedback to improve implementation processes, documentation, and tooling.
• Maintain accurate project data in systems of record (e.g., Salesforce, Jira, Smartsheet).
• Leverage AI tools to streamline project planning, status reporting, and risk tracking across PAR implementations.
