Job summary

Exterro is seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel for a remote-first role focused on SaaS contracting and technology transactions. You will own the customer, partner/channel, and vendor contract lifecycle, from intake to execution, while also supporting privacy, compliance, and product counseling.

You will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Security, Compliance, and Product teams in a fast-paced, international environment and have a clear path to senior leadership as you expand scope

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience focusing on commercial contracts and technology transactions.
• Experience owning SaaS customer agreements from start to finish.
• Hands-on experience with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and privacy laws in commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Own a high volume of SaaS contracts from intake through execution, including drafting and negotiations.
• Negotiate MSAs, DPAs, BAAs, NDAs, AI addenda, and professional services agreements.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and clause libraries.
