Job summary

Optro is seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel to join the expanding legal team on enterprise deals, supporting West Coast Area Directors and their teams. You will independently lead negotiations with customers and guide on subscription, DPA, partner, and vendor agreements while shaping contracting processes for scale.

The role requires senior in-house transactional experience, strong communication, and a growth mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of in-house transactional experience with customers, partners, vendors, and executives.
• 5+ years negotiating SaaS agreements, amendments, and order forms with enterprise customers.
• Understanding of full contract lifecycle from NDA to signature.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency editing contracts in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

• Lead legal negotiations with customers and advise on transactions.
• Provide guidance on subscription, data processing, partner, and vendor agreements.
• Help streamline contracting processes as the company scales.
