Job summary

Norstella is seeking a RWD Analytic Consultant to support the delivery of RWD engagements across the life sciences industry. You will query and analyze a wide range of healthcare data sources to uncover insights and drive evidence-based decisions for clients in the US healthcare ecosystem.

The role blends business acumen with analytics and collaboration with clinicians, data scientists, and statisticians to translate outputs into strategic recommendations and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Epidemiology, Mathematics, Public Health, Computer Science).
• 3+ years of hands-on RWD experience (claims, lab, EMR/EHR, hospital chargemaster, billing codes).
• Strong understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem and ability to work with SQL.

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze healthcare data sources (claims, lab, EMR, other RWD).
• Leverage SQL and data analysis to uncover healthcare trends and insights.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals to define analytics requirements.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into analysis-ready formats.
• Develop data documentation (data dictionaries, mappings, lineage) for transparency.
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights.
