Job summary

Norstella is seeking an RWD Analytic Consultant to join the RWD Engagement Team and support analytics across the life sciences industry.

You will query and analyze diverse health data, transform raw data into insights, and collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and healthcare professionals to deliver practical recommendations. A strong background in RWD and US healthcare is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Epidemiology, Mathematics, Public Health, CS).
• 3+ years of hands-on RWD experience (claims, labs, EMR/EHR, etc.).
• Understanding of US healthcare ecosystem and life sciences industry.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficiency in data query.
• Proficiency in querying relational databases (SQL preferred).

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze a wide range of healthcare data sources including claims, labs, EMR, and other real-world data.
• Utilize SQL and data analysis to uncover insights and support evidence-based decisions.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals to define analytical requirements.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into structured formats ensuring data quality.
• Develop and maintain data documentation, mappings, and data lineage for transparency.
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights.
