Job summary

Norstella is seeking a high‑energy RWD Analytic Consultant to support its RWD engagements across the life sciences industry. You will query and analyze claims, lab results, EMR, and other real‑world data to extract insights and drive evidence‑based decision making.

The role requires 3+ years in RWD, strong SQL, Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and healthcare professionals. Remote work within the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in relevant quantitative field.
• 3+ years of professional experience working hands on with RWD (claims, lab, EMR/EHR, etc.).
• Understanding of life sciences industry and US healthcare ecosystem.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proficiency in querying relational databases (SQL experience preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Client-facing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze a wide range of healthcare data sources (claims, lab, EMR) to support RWD engagements.
• Apply SQL and data analysis to derive insights and evidence-based conclusions.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals to define analytical requirements.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into structured formats ensuring data quality.
• Develop and maintain data documentation including data dictionaries and lineage.
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights.
