Job summary

Norstella is seeking a high-energy RWD Analytic Consultant to support RWD engagements across the life sciences industry. You will query and analyze claims, lab results, EMR, and other real-world data to uncover insights that drive client decisions.

The role requires strong SQL, data analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and commercial teams. You’ll translate analytic outputs into actionable business insights while upholding data quality.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years hands-on RWD experience (claims, lab, EMR/EHR, chargemaster, billing codes).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SQL experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze healthcare data sources (claims, lab, EMR) to support analytical use cases.
• Enhance understanding of trends to drive evidence-based decision-making.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, statisticians, and healthcare professionals to define analytical requirements.
• Clean, validate, and transform raw data into analysis-ready formats.
• Develop and maintain data documentation (data dictionaries, mappings, lineage).
• Translate analytic outputs into consultative business insights.
