Job summary

Archesys is seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails Full-Stack Engineer to join our fully remote MDFAMLI Team. You will focus on back-end code, data integrations, and building payment/workflow features for Employers and Third Party Administrators.

You’ll mentor juniors, participate in code reviews, and help establish scalable architecture. The role requires 5+ years Rails experience, strong OOP, and familiarity with fintech integrations such as NetSuite and ACH payments.

Qualifications

• Significant Rails backend experience in production Ruby on Rails.
• Experience building data integrations and backend data flows.
• Experience with financial/integrations (NetSuite a plus).
• Experience with ACH payments is a plus.
• Strong OOP principles and testing with RSpec or Minitest.
• MVC architecture and RESTful services understanding.
• Relational DB experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and ActiveRecord.
• Git/GitHub for version control.
• Agile methodologies with Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code following OOP/DRY/SOLID.
• Establish backend patterns for payment workflows and data flow into accounting.
• Contribute to full-stack features with a backend focus.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior developers and stay current with Rails trends.
