You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Rails backends, build robust APIs, and optimize MySQL databases while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Proven expertise in building, optimizing, and scaling backend systems in Ruby on Rails.
• Proficient in MySQL with performance tuning and database optimization.
• RESTful API development and integration in Ruby on Rails.
• Automated testing for Rails applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment/production monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Ruby on Rails for high performance and availability.
• Build and optimize MySQL databases for scalability and reliability.
• Develop secure, well-documented RESTful APIs with Rails for frontend and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams for cohesive feature delivery.
• Implement secure coding practices and shift-left security checks.
• Write and maintain automated tests across unit to end-to-end levels.
• Participate in the CI/CD process and production monitoring.
• Provide constructive feedback in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
