Job summary

Datavant is seeking a data entry professional to process electronic medical records remotely. You will handle patient and provider data with care, using multiple EMR systems and Windows-based tools in a high-volume environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma and at least six months of data entry experience, preferably in healthcare or release of information. Expect strict adherence to confidentiality, HIPAA, and company policies.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Six months plus Data Entry Experience.
EMR experience A+.
Experience in a healthcare environment or release of information setting is strongly preferred.
Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Enter accurate data when assigned by team lead.
Remote processing of electronic medical records through various EMR systems as directed.
Respond to changing priorities with minimal supervision.
Report technical difficulties to supervisor as soon as they occur.
Meet metrics for Charts Per Hour (CPH) and attendance.
Maintain confidentiality to protect patient rights and comply with HIPAA regulations.
