Job summary

Teradyne Robotics is seeking an Area Sales Manager to maintain and grow sales for UR and MiR product lines in the New York State region. The role is remote with NYC-area coverage and significant partner collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 4–5+ years in outside sales, a track record of meeting quotas, and experience with distribution and omni-channel strategies. Strong technical aptitude and CRM proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or relevant experience.
• 4–5+ years of outside sales experience.
• Proven track record of exceeding quotas.
• Experience with distribution and omni-channel.
• Background in industrial automation or technical product sales.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow sales within New York State.
• Manage opportunity funnel, forecast & action plans.
• Coordinate with distributors and omni-channel partners.
• Lead joint visits with distributors and omni-channel sales reps.
• Support sales process with demos, quotes, pricing negotiations.
• Travel up to 50% overnight.
• Represent Teradyne Robotics at tradeshows and events.
• Maintain knowledge of competitive products and market activity.
