Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robot Application Developer to design, develop, and integrate software for autonomous robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C++, Python, ROS/ROS 2, perception, motion planning, and robotics software development.

The role involves building robust sensor pipelines, integrating with robotic hardware, and advancing autonomous capabilities through SLAM, localization, and planning techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, CS, EE or related field.
  • 5+ years robotics software development experience.
  • Strong programming in C++ and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS 2.
  • Experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or robotic control systems.
  • Familiarity with sensor fusion and simulation environments.
  • Strong debugging, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop robotics applications using C++ and Python.
  • Design and integrate sensor pipelines (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and other sensors).
  • Implement perception, localization, SLAM, motion planning, and control algorithms.
  • Develop applications using ROS/ROS 2 and integrate with robotic hardware.
  • Build and test robotic solutions using simulation tools such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support field testing, and mentor junior engineers.
