Job summary

Call 4 Health is hiring a Remote Registered Nurse (RN) for 24-hour remote triage, leveraging Schmitt-Thompson protocols and multiple state licenses to support patients nationwide. You'll perform telephone triage, document interactions in EHR systems, and coordinate with providers, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high-quality patient care from a home office.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of RN experience, an active compact license, and the flexibility to work varied shifts in ET time

Qualifications

• Degree in nursing required (Associate’s or BSN)
• 2–4 years RN clinical experience, preferably ER/urgent care/ICU
• Active, unencumbered e-NCL/Compact license
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as requested
• Experience with two or more EHR platforms
• Remote triage experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound/outbound calls for a multi-state nurse triage service
• Use Schmitt-Thompson protocols to assess/triage patients
• Document patient interactions accurately in client EHR systems
• Provide clinical assessments via phone or patient portal per protocols
• Support providers with administrative/clinical tasks (refill requests, notify of critical results)
• Coordinate post-discharge/post-operative follow-up
• Facilitate referrals and prior authorization requests with clinical input
• Collaborate with hospitals, nursing homes, funeral homes, and agencies
• Participate in Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) — monitor vitals, educate on disease management
• Screen/qualify patients for clinical trials and provide education
• Take on additional responsibilities to support team and patient outcomes
