American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN Quality Coordinator for a Trauma Performance Improvement role, requiring trauma center emergency or critical care experience and PI expertise.

This on-site position supports a Trauma Registry department and reports to the Quality team. Key qualifications include active TX/Compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC, TNCC/ATCN, and 5 years ED/ICU trauma center experience, plus 3 years leading performance improvement with regulatory bodies.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications required.
• TNCC/ATCN certification required.
• TOPIC course completion required within 12 months of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, Master's Degree preferred.
• Five years of clinical experience in an emergency department or critical care area within a designated/verified trauma center required.
• Three years of experience implementing performance improvement processes with DSHS, ACS, Joint Commission standards, or other regulatory agencies (including NTDB) required.
• Proficiency in chart abstraction, word processing, spreadsheet development, data reporting, and statistical analysis required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Full Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration.

Aufgaben

• On-site role within a Trauma Registry department
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No direct patient care or contact involved
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Business casual dress code
• Lead trauma performance improvement initiatives in alignment with DSHS, ACS, Joint Commission, and NTDB standards
• Perform chart abstraction and critical analysis of clinical data to support quality improvement efforts
• Ideal candidates include Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinators, Trauma Quality Improvement RNs, Trauma Program Coordinators, Trauma Quality Assurance Specialists, or Emergency/Critical Care RNs with trauma performance improvement experience
• Accepts local candidates
